I would like to amend my schedule of creditors. We briefly talked before about a few creditors being forgotten. Can I find those forms online thru the bankruptcy court forms or do I need to go to the court to get them forms?

Call your court. Some of them have a local form for "Notice of Amendment" but some don't. Some will want a whole new 'amended matrix' and schedule of creditors. There is a charge for amending your schedule of creitors--$26.00 I think.. Each local distract does have rules on how the amendment is to be done. My court did not have a local notice of amendment form--you can do a goggle and find quite a few local forms for different states/districts and you can edit for your own use.

We found a couple of things that we had originally forgotten, called the atty and he filed them for us. He charged us $27 (which would be for one or fifty). If you have one, call them and see what they will charge. I figured it was safer that someone who knew what they were doing to do it and then I didn't have to worry about the consequences if I messed up.
Good Luck!!!

Also double check what your local court requires in terms of NAMING the amended documents. I used Form 7 software... and I had to write out the word SUPPLEMENTAL (literally with a pen) in the title of the docs. And I had to file several other schedules which did not change.....like pretty much schedules a-g or something like that.Originally posted by newstartI would like to amend my schedule of creditors. Always talk to TWO people at the court for an answer. They are replete with examples of them not giving accurate information.
And don't forget possible fees for amending....
