I have a buyer who has been hounding me for it and I told him it wasnt mine...until today I guess! hehe woohoo!!!!!! I am not gonna complain but I aint assuming nothin anyway at least till i talk to my attorney.. I want to thank all the good people of this forum who in my time of need was there for me I want to say a big thank you to stacimm and minnymouth especially because it seemed like they answered most of my questions and to everyone else who did also, and for the people behind me,just stay focused , do your homework and pay attention and you all will have a happy ending with a fresh start also. God Bless ya!

Wait and see if your case gets closed. As long as its open, you could possibly hear more from the trustee regarding the land.
Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.

I new it was to good to be true...

I have been trying to get an answer to that for a long time, does discharge mean it is over...I guess I didnt ask it plain enough. Oh well I hope they leave me something. Does anyone know when this all happens?I mean your case is discharged and then comes the heartaches , I guess that seems fair. lol So it is not over, and I was flying high there for an hour and a half,I feel like someone just took my heart out.

Discharged means that you will not have to pay your creditors w/ post filing assets/money. Closed means that they don't get any pre-filing assets/money, or that the trustee has already gotten the pre-filing non-exempted assets & distributed them.

            tk9,
Check the thread "should I be concerned" to see an explantion of "discharged" and "closing".... might help you understand a little better.

Also I would hold off selling land till I see that "closed" on my case......

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.
