After 341

I had my 341 meeting on Feb 8th which was last week, Now I'm a little confused. What happens after the 341 meeting. DO I just sit and wait for the objection date? When does the trustee give the report? Thank you

Ok - more info needed.

If your case was a no-asset case NOW all you do is sit and wait out the 61 days to see if the creditors or the Trustee object to your discharge.... if they do not .... you will see discharge after 61 days on pacer.

If you have assets that the Trustee is taking or you are surrendering then other things are involved. All non-secured debts will be discharged in 60 days (if no objections), but the others will have to be settled.

Most of the time its sit and wait for the 60 days to pass....

Trustee will issue his report any time between now and the discharge date.

Since we are both from NYC, I have a question:

Did the trustee ask about your tax refund such as turning it over? I recently got my refund and plan to spend it on much needed things before I file bk. My refund was large mostly from the EIC and child tax credits. I have 3 kids so every dollar really counts.

if the trustee has no objections after the 341 meeting his/her report will show within days of the 341 conclusion on pacer. depending on your status with your creditors and your income level they may or may not be able to file objection in the case of a claim of fraud based on your income level/results of the means test.
