    Discharged BUT problems with Closing?

I was discharged today... I am actually shaking... But the court said the Trustee has NOT turned in paperwork to close the case.

There are a couple potential problems even though I am a NO Asset case:

    1) Sold a house to my Mom two years ago but the loan was still in my name at filing

    2) Had an active lawsuit against Allstate when I lost everything in a house theft. Is the trustee possibiliy waiting to close the case to find out the result of the lawsuit even though it's probably a couple years away?

Do you think I should call the trustee and ask or will that just send a red flag onto my case? It's the waiting and not knowing where I stand that is driving me nuts. Any experience or advice would be great.

Waiting is indeed the hard part and something that I do extremely poorly, however, I have learned something over the years.
What difference does it make whether I know or not? It's not going to change the outcome. Whatever will be, will be.
    Remember the serenity prayer.
God, grant me the serenity to
accept the things I cannot change
to change the things I can
and the wisdom to know the difference.

Did you call the court and ask when your case would be closed? I have thought about doing that (discharged, not closed yet).... but not sure if that is allowed.

Yes, I called the court and the trustee has not turned in the paperwork yet, I'm wondering if I should call the trustee or just wait.
