got a new trustee ???

i have been dischared on 1/17/2005 and am still waiting for closing, no asset, chapter 7 case, no contact from trustee or anything, checked pacer tonight and found this: Resignation of Trustee and Appointment of Successor Trustee. Trustee xxxxxx x. xxxxxxx resigned from the case. xxxxxxx x. xxxxxx appointed to the case. Trustee is covered by the blanket bond filed with the Court. (This is text only. Possibly just the trustee felt for some reason shouldn't have your case. Maybe got fired? I don't know for sure. I don't think it is something to worry about.. maybe some others will have more input.

think your correct.............35th day of waiting for closing, maybe for some reason the trustee could not finish closing the case so he passed it own to another trustee..............guess the only down side is will have to wait longer or it could happen quickly if the new trustee puts his stamp of approval on it.

The Trustee could have been in bad health (heart attack or anything) and US Trustee decided it was time to appoint a new trustee to the case..... Things like that does happen......

nothng to be alarmed about!!! Your case will probably close shortly....

noticed on pacer a report/document transferring the case from one trustee to the other. Report indicated no reciepts of disbursements were made by trustee.......think all is ok !!
