Notice of Special Appearance-what is this?

I got a letter from an attorney for my bank that is a Notice Of Special Appearance and Request for service of papers.

Is this just saying that the bank has retained and attorney and wants the court to send the mail to them? I am wondering if this is just a routine thing or if it indicates the bank is going to give me a hard time about the BK.

Its not unusual... Once that is filed, any notices (such as when you're discharged) will go to that person/company/address.
Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.
