After Discharge

Hi, all! My DH filed Oct 15 and was discharged 2/28 with no problems that we are aware of. We are looking to put home improvements into our home with a family loan, the loan consists of no interest and pay back when you can..If this money runs through our bank account can anybody lay claim to it?

I have thought of opening an account just in my name to do this transaction in but was wondering if anyone here has any ideas how to handle this??

Have you considered getting the family member to just give you cash...then you guys just go down to the store and buy your home improvement items with it? Since you're discharged it shouldn't matter...about your bank account, but this seems a direct way and will get you motivated if the materials are laying in the driveway...
