? regarding amount owed to Trustee if any

    1. The last day for creditors to appeal is coming up next week, March 7. Is this also considered our discharged date?

    2. If we owe any monies to the Trustee, does that show up as a bill in the mail after the discharge? The only thing I remember her saying at the 341 meeting was that my settlement, if any, for a lawsuit that was pending, will go to her. What about taxes? she only asked for our 2004 tax papers and said nothing else regarding that. What about any monies we may have had in the bank when we filed? It was living expenses from the insurance company for evacuating the hurricane.

I checked the pacer and nothing has been noted for awhile, just awaiting discharge it states.

If you're still listed 'no asset', other than updating the trustee on the status of your lawsuit if anything comes of it in the next 6 months or so, I'd say nothing to worry about.

If the trustee was expecting your tax refund, you would not be listed as a 'no asset' case.

The discharge can happen at any time after the deadline has passed.
Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.
