wow, that is a long wait. Might depend on how backed up the courts are in your area? May call the clerk down at your courthouse and see if they might know anything.

I'm still waiting for official closing. I filed 10/12, discharged on 1/26. I searched Pacer all the way back to cases filed mid-september, and non were closed yet. I have a feeling I have a long wait ahead myself.
    Filed: 10/11/05 DONE
    341 Meeting: 11/21/05 DONE
Last day for Objections: 1/20/06 DONE
    Discharged: 1/26/06
    CLOSED!! 3/16/06 :yahoo: :D

If it says 'awaiting closing' it may already be discharged. On Monday, call the clerk at your district's BK court and ask.

And, if the trustee wants to review your tax return, that could hold up close but not the discharge.
Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.

I filed ch 7 10/13, and had 341 on 11/29. I'm in Georgia. My discharge came through day-befo-yesterday, March 1st. I saw it on Pacer...keep checking, and call the clerk next week. Like you, I was beginning to worry why it was taking so looong...
        Good Luck.

I'm in Ga too and I still haven't received even my discharge. I filed on 10/6 and had my 341 on 11/17. Now Chase filed an extension for themselves to object to 3/28 because I reaffirmed something with them but my attorney told me that would not affect my discharge date. This wait is so agonizing.

What was your last date for objections? I would call your case manager and ask your case status.

I filed around the same date, had my 341 in Dec, and just got my discharge papers in the mail today. I'm not closed, because the Trustee did turn me into an asset case (tax refund among other issues.)

Any of you that have tax refund issues with the Trustee will only see discharge right now..... You won't see case closed until the Trustee settles the income tax issue....

What you complaining for - my case is 510 days and still counting.......................LOL

My case is very unusual though, not like yours!!
