Me and my husband filed for a chapter 7 BK and our meeting with the creditors and trustee is on Feb. 18. Is the trustee a jerk? I mean I guess I really don't understand his position. I'm afraid to wear my wedding ring because I've heard trustees get interested in your jewelry.....this ring is the only piece of jewelry I have that amounts to any kind of money. I have no assets, so what will he want from me? Confused.....

Relax, most trustee meetings last 5 minutes at most, they will basically ask you questions about if you understand the paper work you filled out and if you are the one that filled it out and did you list all of your assets. Just be honest. It goes very quickly
