When we give back the vehicle that was not reaffirmed in our 7, can we keep or should we take the tags off before giving it back? I have personalized plates and want to keep the tags for the replacement vehicle.

Depends your State's rules about the plates.
One person here had their vehicle repo'd and couldn't get the plates back from the repo company. The repo company wanted $66, or whatever the cost of the tags from the State were. Evidently the repo company was supposed to surrender the plates to the State.
So check your State reg's about that. Or call the DMV and see what they have to say.Filed Ch 7 - 09/06
