Feeling helpless!

My husband took the job. Now the hard part, finding someone to finance a car while in 13.::dry: Does anyone have any suggestions or have been through this? What was suppose to be a good thing, doesn't look so hot at the moment.:cry:

I have been trying to finance a car for several months, with no luck. It's very easy to get sub-prime loans AFTER discharge, but I have yet to find anyone who will do business with me once they find out that I'm in the middle of my plan.

If you DO find a lender, please let me know. also, don't forget to get the approval forms from the trustee PRIOR to taking a loan.

I don't know if you have Hertz car sales in your area, but we were told by them when we were considering this, that they can get financing for people currently in a 13. We decided to wait, and didnt pursue further, but it may
have worked.

13inOR, that's a good idea. I was wondering about that myself. We're not wanting to buy anything right now, but our son will have to have transportation when he goes to college. He works now (soph. in HS) and it is tough on him.
