Inactive Best Buy account

What are the chances that Best Buy will send me a replacement card for my account w/o running a credit check again? I had a Best Buy account and haven't used it since the late 90's. I cut it up, but never closed it. Thought about sparingly using it to help build up my credit again. Need a new washer and dryer soon............

I doubt it is still valid. If you can do it, it's best. We've gone "all cash" for the last two years (I kept a VISA card) and it has been great. And yes, we've had to buy a Water Heater, Washer Dryer, Stove and Fridge and even were able to purchase a little land. I know everyone can't do it all that way but if you can, stick to cash.
