We have been in bankruptcy for about a year now. The $375 comes out of my wifes check every week. She usally brings home about $75 after working 40 hours. I am retired and i get $850 for retirement and $2000 for social secuirty per month. My wifes 1996 Plymouth Voyger has about had it and My 1994 Dodge Dakota Is not far behind. Her Van has 335,000 miles on it. Its a car that needs very many repairs. So how can i go about getting a van for my wife even though am in bankruptcy?

I know the feeling, we went through a chapter 13 with a very unreliable car.
The first step is to seek trustee approval, which is done through your attorney. Then you must find financing that also meets the trustees criteria.
This is not easy, but can and has been done.

hey larry we are going thru the same thing right now, got the trustees approval now trying to find someone to finance us. chrysler already turned us down. will keep you updated this week as we search!!!!!::unsure:
