Kay Jewelers - is there any possibility of reconsideration?

Good morning everyone!
I applied for a few accounts including a Kay Jewelers account. They asked for more information than anyone else and I filled everything in. When I got a letter from them it said We regret that we are unable to approve...................Unable to verify employment.

Is there a chance that I could call them and straighten this out. Has anyone sent proof of income or employment to a company for reconsideration? Thanks.

No but I bet it isnt a big deal. I would think if they were going to flat out deny you w/o a "second chance" they would not have asked for your income info. Absolutely, I would try again. I have read posts where other people got approved.. Give it a shot.

****Update****

Just to let everyone know my experience.......
Hours have been cut back in the office where I work. When they called to verify employment nobody was back there to answer the phone. I called Kay Jewelers this morning and they called my employer again and got the verification - and I got a $500 credit limit!! The people I spoke with at Kay were very nice over the phone and even placed me on hold when they called for verification.
