I don't know if my nerves can take this.

I swear I have the worst luck. I mailed my payment to the trustee on the
8th of this month(last Wednesday), it wasn't due until the 16th. The same day I mailed a bday card to father in law who lives in Florida. My father in law gets his card on Saturday and the trustee's office still doesn't have my payment!! I have never had this problem in all my 13 payments. Mail it and two days later it is through the bank. Women at trustee's office said not to worry, easy for her to say!! She said that it would have to be really late for them to take any action. I am trying to get all my payments on time, so that if I ever need a letter from the trustee about payments being on time, I can get one. Will this madness ever end? blink: Hopefully in another 24 months.

For the future, do you have the option of direct deposit from your checking to the trustee? Might be something you would like to look into.

You did the smart thing and contacted the trustee. Breath...everything will be alright.

My trustee is very slow in posting checks. He is also very slow in cashing checks. I am not sure when he actually receives them but I assume 2-3 days after I mail them. (it is probably actually 1 day but I give the mail system 2-3 days). I have been mailing them 6 days before they are due, and as of yet, I have never had one post to my account by the due date. I will be glad when the wage garnishment takes affect so I won't have to worry about it.
