    Case filed

    I havn't done a lot of posting and just wanted to update everyone on my case. My lawyer just recently filed my case (6/8/2006) and expect the 341 meeting to be in approximately 6-8 weeks time.

    I also wanted to take a moment to thank everyone on this board with special thanks going to Minnymouth, SinkingFast, and anonymuse whose advice, and support helped me get through the first hurdles of filing for bankruptcy.
    Retained an Attorney to file 4/19/2006
    Signed Paperwork with Attorney and filed 6/8/2006
    341 Meeting scheduled for 8/1/2006 9:00AM -DONE

    Sorry that you do have to file BK, but thrilled that we can help you thru it......

    Don't ever feel alone..... we have all been there and done it.

    When your feeling "down", frustrated, afraid, or just got questions or want to talk, come chat with us.....

    Your nerves take a beating during the bankruptcy process.... the world of the unknown.....

    Its "hell" knowing a Trustee is "in charge" of your life till the bankruptcy is over.

        I want to add my 2 cents worth too...this forum is a total godsend...it will be your lifeline throughout the BK process. I don't think I could have gotten through the BK ordeal(and still have my sanity) had it not been for them. I remember telling my attorney about them and how they were my BK therapy...he was impressed that there were things about BK I knew just from posting on this forum..We are your support group so let us know how things are going...Good luck!
