I just had a incident where because my husband and myself had filed BK 7 in 2005 ..
A judgement he had in 2002 (before I knew him ) on his own that was recorded in his name . But since we had filed together as husband and wife when the BK 7 papers were sent to the court house .. the court house records dept added my name to this Judgement... (how nice huh)
stated suggestion bk copy of order of discharge .... So I contacted the court house after the findings on public record and they tried to pawn me off to my attorney .. I threatened with a lawsuit against them and she told me to hold and put someone else on the phone .. This person was apoligizing that it was their error and it was corrected that second.... I calmed down after getting very irate with the first girl... You really have to be on top of all your BK files or it could get out of control...
