    Repair after ch.7 discharge

My Ch. 7 just discharged this month. I will pull reports next month to start disputing. When I pulled them in April (after 341, before discharge) all but one of the creditors included in my bk were still reporting derog. info. This is a big no-no. I filed in Jan so the last month they could put any derogs on was Jan. Anyway, my actual question is what is the best, most effective, etc way to dispute these since they have reports that are not allowed?
    Filed Pro-se: 01/18/06
    341 meeting: 02/14/2006
    Objection Deadline: 04/17/06
    Discharge: 06/13/2006
    Closed: 06/21/2006

    Credit cards

06/25/06, reopened a Discover that I closed before my bk, $1500 limit
July 2006, Target Redcard $200 limit
August 2006, Hooters MC $1750 limit

This is what I'm kicking around. Let me know if you think it will/won't work or is at least worth a try.

I'm thinking of requesting deletion of these three tradelines on the basis that the creditors are unlawfully reporting deragatory (or some other description) history after filing of bankruptcy.

This would make it impossible for me to ever dispute the bk as not mine but they have the correct case # listed with all three CRAs anyway.

ALWAYS start disputing, as "Not mine."

      And go from there!

Actually, after reading a lot last night and this morning, I am going to request validation on three accounts listed in my CR first and go from there. I'm going to leave my car loan alone since that one is ok and they've not yet done anything to harm my report. I'm also going to dispute the validity of a collection on my account. It is for a medical bill that the insurance supposedly paid but could never get either end to give proper documentation. The only collection letter I ever received was the one saying "we are going to sue you since you refuse to pay" and my parents took that letter and paid it w/o me knowing. So I am not even the one who paid it. The only line I expect to come back validated is my loan from CitiFinancial.

The validation requests seem to work almost, if not better at times, than the "not mine." If they can't verify it word for word, then it has to be removed. That can often times work better in your favor, than if you were to dispute everything as not mine, and get a bad "valdiation" back that way. Good luck.

Thanks for the tip--but I won't do it with the accounts that were in great standing before bk.
