I received a discharge letter yesterday but I was told by the trustee and my attorney my home has too much equity and the trustee would use a portion of the equity to pay the creditors. I thought that once you get your discharge letter that would end the bankruptcy. The letter did state "I was granted a discharge." It only had 2-3 simple sentences stating discharge. would the trustee still take equity from my home to pay creditors or what's going to happen from here?
