Ok just got an offer from fidelity credit by phone.
Have somebody ever received credit from them.
I never knew of a phone offer but they appear to be legit and offered an unsecured credit line of up to $500.00

Rep asked me if i filed within six months and if i was discharged, which i answered yes but then he asked for a checking or savings account and said that still would be unsecured credit but they require credit holder to have a bank account.

Since i don`t have a bank account i didn`t qualified and he said it would call me back in around a month.

I don`t know if this is 100% legit and if it is i belive he made up the bank account to deny me as he found i had chapter 7.

Just to get some opinions from you guys !

Oh my gosh... DO NOT take a card with this company, and DO NOT give them any information over the phone. This is not legit, and they will take your money and RUN.

Do a google on them and see what you find.

DO NOT EVER GIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE, NEVER.... Ask them to give you a number so that you can call them or ask them to mail it to you.

These companies pray on people with bad credit to rip them off, they name the company similar to Fidelity (an ivestment brokerage firm), so when they call, people think it's the investment firm that's calling. The real Fidelity is a very very prime card company......

One more thing:

RARELY will a credit card company EVER call to offer you a credit card. This almost never happens anymore.
