You gotta watch Store Cards. You never know who they're backed by.

I have a Store Card with Zero balance I was hoping would ride thru BK. Be a big help on the other side toward rebuilding. Just found out the Store Card is backed by Chase. One of our BK biggies.

I'm guessing that card won't make it thru BK. But a Girl Friend said, you never know. The Store may call the shots on whether the acct stays active and not Chase.

            Okay,
Your 341 meeting is scheduled for July 8th.........
The waiting period for objections from the Creditors is approx 60 days - that would make your discharge date approximately Sept 8th... give or take a day or two.....

Depending on whether you have any objections from creditors, or complications in your bankruptcy your discharge can come anytime after approx Sept 10th..... often the next day after the waiting period....

You are not supposed to apply for any credit during the bankrutpcy process and besides the cc companies will deny you anyways......

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.
