Just venting - I have been working with 722 Redemption and have been having a great experience with them. Got the loan approved through US Bank, got the car picked out. Paperwork all drawn up and ready to go. Very excited since my 180,000 mile current vehicle is having problem after problem the past few weeks.
Guess who has to throw a monkey wrench into the system? My attorney, who has REFUSED to file the paperwork with the court saying that he "knows" the court won't approve the motion for new debt with the paperwork the bank/722 Redemption submitted to him. According to the 722 Redemption guy, my attorney is quibbling over all the boilerplate stuff that goes into every one of their documents and that has been accepted by every court they work with.
I am so embarrassed to have such a prima donna attorney who seems to think he knows everything, everywhere and no one can tell him what to do. They have now set up a conference call between my attorney and the 722 Redemption attorney to see if the "issues" my attorney has with the verbiage can be worked out. I can only hope - because otherwise he is going to queer the whole deal for no reason.
My attorney left me a message basically saying "tough luck for you" which infuriates me since I am really needing and counting on this vehicle and have been working with 722 Redemption for almost a month to get everything squared away. When I called the attorney's office - of course he is not available - I was just going to say FILE IT and let's see if the court refuses it or if that's some delusion in your pea brain. If they deny the motion, okay, we know we have an issue and we can go from there. But as of right now, from all the info I have been given, I have no reason to believe it would be denied.
Very frustrated - every little thing with this attorney turns out to be a drama and I always seem to end up on the losing end.
