    Question about Expenses

My lawyers office will be calling me one day this week to come in and do a final review on all my documents prior to filing. Now thanks to a link someone posted here on this forum I have discovered quite a few expenses that I overlooked and when added to what we already have takes me from $135 disposbale income to a negative number. These are common everday expenses (haircuts, bank fess, postage etc.) that I never even thought of.

I can still change these figures on my expenses right.............do you think doing so will "delay" my petition getting filed. I just want to get this thing rolling so we can start anew.

    Thanks
    Connie

Most attnys file electronically anymore. Right from their offices. You'll probably review a printed copy of your Petition in the office. If everything looks OK, then you'll sign, and the attny will submit it right then and there. Poof! You're done.

If you want to add expenses, it shouldn't be any problem to correct Schedule J before it's submitted. Just call your attny's office and tell the attny or your paralegal what you want added and why. They should have it all ammended before you even go in for the review. Pull your petition up on the computer and do a little "magic fingers" work is all.

If your petition has already been submitted, you can still ammend Schedule J. There's a nominal fee for that, but it can be done.
