    What a joke ....First Premier

    - Negative accounts
    - Insufficient credit history
    - Too recent residence
    - Too high financial responsibilities
Negative accounts?? WHAT accounts?? All accounts are listed as IIB with zero balance, PLUS these accounts were on our report when they APPROVED us for this card. ALL of the 3 open accounts are reporting in good standing!!
    2. Insufficient credit history?? I have PERFECT history with their company not to mention also with Orchard and Target. The rep agreed that we were perfect.
    3. Too recent residence?? Too high financial responsibilities??

What are you baffled about? They're rip off artists. The 'high fee' card issuers like first premier, aspire, etc, only want to issue you a limit just enough to cover all the initial costs and other fees. They don't make their money off % rates, they make their money by ripping people off.

I'm baffled because they gave bogus reasons! I'm not mad about not getting an increase , but to list stupid reasons, which are blatantly false??

I know they have stupid fees and such, if they were really hard core rip-off artists, they would have put through the increase, and collect the $25 they charge for a credit increases!!!

That would have only increased their risk... They set out to rip people off, as their first and foremost priority, all the way down to the very last thing they care about... Think about it, 150$ a year in fees for a 200 or so limit, they make money based on a 75% or so profit... If they increase the limit, they have to loan more money and therefore the net profit decreases...

Wait until you call to cancel. That's a rip roaring good time as well with them. /sarcasm

They are jerks. I had to argue with them to close the account. The woman kept saying "you get what you pay for in a credit card company". BS-The best cards you pay the least for. It took 10 minutes of arguing then she hung up on me. I called back and she did infact cancel the card. They still owe me $6 but I doubt I get that back.

Jeep Mom and Filing are right. Unforunatly, Pink we end up getting screewd on these deals. Youhave to keep in mind the end game, which is to get your credit situation improved. Honestly, I'd dump the 1 Premiere card and keep the other 2 cards. It sounds like they are not willing to work with you at all.

Thanks for the responses, However.... I know that there are fees, and such and they prey on people with crappy credit.
              My gripe is they lied

                Pink,

Send them a reconsideration letter through PlanetFeedback!

Give them YOUR reasons, and see what they write back!
