How can I get Equifax to send credit report

Hello, my husband and I are filing Bk pro se. I have requested both of our credit reports from all 3 agencies. I received a letter in the mail today from Equifax stating that they are not going to send his credit report as he has already received his free report for the year. We have'nt requested our credit reports in about 3 years now. How can I prove to them that he has not done this? Also, will it do any good for me to call them being his wife?

I don't know about the first part of your question, but you as his wife will get nowhere. He will have to do it himself. It's that same basically as with the HIPPA laws for medical information. Everything today is so "confidential" that we even have trouble at times getting information about ourselves.
