I just applied for the Hooters card and I was wondering about something on the application. I applied solo and plan on applying in my husbands name as soon as I get his credit report cleared up more. So, when it said total income, that does mean total household income, correct? I only work part time so I put down my employer along with the combined salaries of myself and my husband. Is this correct? And has anyone ever had them actually call to verify your employment? I think my little old lady boss would be amazed to hear I was applying for Hooters!

I wouldn't worry about it. Credit cards are issued based mostly on your credit score. They almost never verify income, and rarely will even call you to verify information.

Not that I am aware of. I just applied and received my Hooters credit card.
