When do scores drop during BK?

    When you file?

    After 341?

    After discharge?

    After closing?

My scores are: TU 525, EX 512, EQ 533 and all three are reporting the bankruptcy.

I'm hoping this is what the scores are after they've fallen......

No, they've already dropped. Once you get all of your credit reports fixed, your scores should go up dramatically within a few months.

In my case, my scores didn't fall all that much! In fact, my score have been climbing since I filed:

        Since March 1, 2006

        Transunion +64
        Experian +36
        Equifax +32
        My credit scores:
Before Filing: Tr 496, Ex 496, Eq 507

        Today: Tr 618 (+122), Ex 601 (+105), Eq 623 (+116)

Danielle -- you just filed a week ago and already your creditors are reporting IIB? WOW! That was fast!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah weird huh? Ford has been the easiest to work with too (they're the first ones to put IIB on my report). My lawyer told them I was reaffirming and technically I should be done paying off the car but while I was in the hospital I knew I was going to fall behind and they let me skip three payments and they tacked it on at the end of my loan. So that is all I have left that I owe to them are those three payments.....however, I don't have the money to pay them either.

Thank God! Cause looking at those scores nearly made me have a heart attack. I've generally maintained fair credit at least....even after the foreclosure and I'm teetering between very poor and poor.

I too was shocked when I saw my scores. We are working with a credit repair agency that our auto dealer recommended to us. We both have a lot of errors on our reports I sure hope my scores go up soon. This is terrible to have "poor" credit after bk when I was median before. I have some accounts still showing balances when they were in the bk so I hope they have better luck than I did clearing this crap up.
working on getting stuff off the reports hoping to see at least 150 point + in the next six months...can i do it ?

credit since bk in july 05:

                Premier :$300
                Aspen : $300
                Wards: TBA
