HELP! Beneficial is refusing to remove charge offs

    AFTER Bankruptcy.

I just received a letter from them yesterday, and they have admitted the following:

a.) they are reporting my name as being misspelled.

b.) they have charged the debt off in March 2005, even though my bankruptcy was final and closed in February 2005.

c.) they are REFUSING to remove charge off statements and "120 days late" statements...

Where do I go from here?
I don't have the money to sue, but I do want my credit reports to accurately and correctly report that this debt was discharged.

Does anyone have ANY advice... a letter, or the laws regarding this?

I am at my wit's end here. This has gone on for over a year, and it took this much to get it done and finally get a response from these bozo's.

    TIA.
BUSY running my own credit repair services! Sorry I don't stop in so often any more!

-Dispute thgis item through the CRA via certified mail when/ if you get a response from them saying the information cannot be changed.

-Call the FTC and inform them of the problem. They will file a disputeon your behalf with the CRA. If they get the same answer, they will advise you on how to proceed.

This is were I am right now I have almost all the items on my report have thier dates changed to this year. I'm waiting for an offical response from the CRAs. I may be able to purse this through leagal means.
    My credit scores:
Before Filing: Tr 496, Ex 496, Eq 507

    Today: Tr 618 (+122), Ex 601 (+105), Eq 623 (+116)

I am going to try THIS and the Attorney General's office of my state and theirs today

My dream one day is to own my own credit repair business, have a lawyer on staff, and make a difference nation wide on making business and the CRA's obey the law!

I have a few names on my report--including a mispelling since that is how one cc was once given to me.

Plus, my address changed due to 911 standards (i.e. from 923 to 23) so I made sure both were listed on all reports.
