Hi everyone, I'm a new member and an excited one to learn more about BK's. I'm new and need help. I need to know what debts are included in my chapter 13. How can I tell from paperwork received, which debts are included and which aren't. So if I pay the whole balance, which debts will be discharged. Thanks in advance!

In both chapter 7 and chapter 13, all debts are dischargeable except student loan debt, and secured debt. In either case, student loan debt is rarely dischargeable. Secured debt like homes/cars can be 'reaffirmed' in chapter 7 (regular payments continued) or included in chapter 13 payments. In a chapter 7, all unsecured debts would be discharged. If you can afford to pay any of your unsecured debts, you may be required to complete a chapter 13 payment plan, where for a set period of time you would pay your disposable income toward a payment that would be divided among all of your creditors.
