selling home in chapter 13 [Archive]

I make settlement on my home 2/25. just found out today i can't sell without permission from trustee. any advice?

I believe you should contact your lawyer and have him ask the trustee for permission to sell your home. I am in the same situation and my lawyer advised me that once I had a signed earnest money contract on the property, that I should send her a copy and she would ask the trustee for authorization to sell the property. I'm not sure how long that takes, but I'm sure your lawyer should be able to give you a time frame.
