I just wanted you guys to know about triple alert from experian. I just signed up for this service and it only costs $4.95 a month to be alerted on all 3 credit reports. I think this is a good deal and I'll let you guys know how it goes.

You get what you pay for. An 'alert' that something's changed on your TU or EQ report is one thing...then you have to go get access to those at some $$ cost as well, and you likely can't pull or update your EX report unlimited for the $4.95 price. A lot of extra work and some add'l cost, it seems. But, do let us know what your Exerian_ce is!

Yeah that is true. And anyway, don't they have to notify you when a negative mark is put on your record? Colorado does because I used to get the letter all the time....by now everything has made it's way to the credit report so it's been a while since I've seen one but I remember all those letter saying that under such and such law we are notifying you that a negative mark was placed, you can request a credit report to review the information by.......blah blah blah.Filed 07/14/2006

Not in michigan they don't. You find out about negative info when you review your credit report and that's it.Originally posted by Danielle1981Yeah that is true. I'd rather pay another $10 and have the whole report at my fingertips, so I know exactly what I am looking at.BUSY running my own credit repair services! Sorry I don't stop in so often any more!

That really sucks! Colorado has always been a stickler about credit reports. It was one of the few states that allowed you one free credit report even before they did it nationwide. They also have to notify you of any negative hits and allow you to view your credit report for free if you receive notice of one.Filed 07/14/2006

I know, I wish they did have to notify you because credit monitoring wouldn't be necessary.Originally posted by Danielle1981That really sucks!
