Experian is the credit bureau that Dell (CIT Bank) pulls. I applied a few days out of BK and was denied. Someone on this forum applied for Dell and was approved, but that was months out of Bk and the interest rate was 29.99%. Which is a bit outrageous but what can you do? You have to start all over again somewhere.

The last thing in the world you want to finance is a computer especially at 29%. It loses value faster than a car. If you want to build credit, get a secured credit card.

I so liked Fedlers' idea of using a CC to pay for a comp rather than getting the financing. But who am I to talk once im outta my situation can't wait to be able to apply and get APPROVED for stuff.
