Bank Statement

One week from this coming Friday have 341 meeting. Does anyone know after the meeting how long will they be looking at my bank statements? I have heard 2 or 3 months after meeting they will still want to see my bank statements.

I had my 341 meeting on 12/16/04 and they haven't asked for any bank statements since the meeting. I had to supply statements for 6 months prior to filing.

I only have to bring my bank statement that contains the date of my filing to the 341. Does the 2-4 months start after the 341 meeting?

If the trustee is on the ball, they usually request
3 months of statements before filing date, and 1 month after the filing date.

So if you filed in December 5th, you would want to be prepared to supply bank statements Sept, Oct, Nov, and Dec.

I filed Jan. 24th. So even though my attorney said bring only the bank statement containing that date I should bring Oct, Nov, Dec, and Jan.

Thanks. Since my 341 is next Friday I can spend this weekend looking for those statements. I want to prepared.

Another question: W-2s. I know I need 2004 any others?

Its more about being prepared. You should be prepared to supply 4 months worth and bring them with you, but only give the Trustee what they ask for.
