    # for Experian to talk to live person!

I am pretty sure that you all have had trouble trying to speak to a LIVE person at Experian re: a dispute or anything. The # is at the end. A little info about what I went thru.

I have been trying to reach them for weeks now, and am bald because all the hair I pulled out. j/k The only way to talk to a live person is to pay for a credit report on the automated system and then call them with the report #. If you do get to talk to them..if and whenver they want..and if they don't like how the conversation is going they can disconnect the call and you cannot talk to a live person again until you pay for another report to get the report#.

After paying for a membership with Truecredit..I tried to dispute online with Experian and (guess what) got an error message. They told me that I had to get the report directly from Experian website to dispute. I got the free one and got the same error message when I tried to do online dispute. They told me I had to pay for a report..that you can dispute with free credit report online.

I paid for credit report ($15) online..tried to dispute and got the same error message. All the #'s I found and tried that at one time went to a live person is now disconnected and/or automated. When I finally got the # from someone 1-800-509-8495(# they give you to call and then you enter the report#)...I tried entering a generic report # and it hung up on me.

I am just trying to talk to someone LIVE to fix it where I can dispute online...I am not trying to do it over the phone or curse them out (I could!)....
I called this # to cncl my mother's membership cause she got her free Experian report from their website.

I actually told the girl my problem and we were on the phone for about an hour trying to fix it. Needless to say..the error message is not fixed but we went over every scenario and I will be trying it again after 24 hrs per her advice. If It doesn't work...I have my report # on the way so I will go that route. When you call...you have to hit the option to cncl your membership..and let them know that you were just speaking with someone and they told you to call back.

Here is the #18774816826. Good luck and let me know if it works for you!

I don't recommend disputing ANYTHING on the phone.

The people RARELY speak English and don't really understand the laws behind credit reporting.

Do it through the mail, or don't do it at all.
BUSY running my own credit repair services! Sorry I don't stop in so often any more!

your right Tin, I called to question something on my credit report yesterday with Trans Union and that's what I got. I could barely understand the person and they had no idea what I was talking about. So put it on paper and mail it in.

I don't plan to dispute over the phone. I am tryinig to do it online and I keep getting that error message. I was just trying to get a live person to talk to to see how they can "fix" my account so that I can dispute online.

I am awaiting my credit report in the mail from them..so that I can dispute through the mail if I cannot get my account fixed to dispute online.

PLUS...I just wanted to find a # so that you can get someone live. It seems they devote all their time to erase #'s that get "leaked" to speak to a live person...and to find ways to not have an option for anyone to speak with a live person..than they do running their company or abiding by laws.

I am just scared that when I dispute..they will not remove anything or add stuff to my report...like some of the horror stories that I read.
