When will it change?

Okay, now they we have been discharghed I have so many questions.
I have now read all the sticky's on rebuilding credit but I need to know one thing:
When will the bankruptrcy show on our credit report? I ran a 3 in one reprt today and it still shows our accounts as derogatory not in bankruptcy?? We were discharged 9/5.

The CRA's aren't an immediate indicator of what happens with your Credit. Sometimes they report quicker than others. When we pulled our Credit Reports the first of March, we'd already missed 2 payments on everything. Nothing showed. Our Credit Reports still showed everything "Pays as Agreed".

You could even start disputing right now if you wanted to speed the process along. The quicker you clean up your Credit, the quicker you can get started on rebuilding. There are people here that started disputing prior to their 341 and they got a real jump start out of the gate after Discharge.

exactly SF. I was discharged yesterday and I immediatley started disputing everythiing on my credit report so they can update it. I'm not going to wait for them to do it. i wish i would have started after my 341 but i was scared i would mess something up! Because we really need a car sooooooooooooooooo bad. We're driving a 90 maxima with a window taped with plastic so i'm hoping to get something soon before it gets too cold. we've already been rained on several times.
