General Bankruptcy Question

I met with my Bank. attorney and since I did a $2000 balance transfer at the beginning of this month he suggested that I wait until July to file, just to be on the safe side. I asked him if I should still make payments on my credit cards or partial payments and he said no. My question is, if I do not make any payments for March, April, May and June will they come after me (or file something against me) before I am able to file bankruptcy? I understand that each case is unique but I am just looking for some opinions here.

Your attorney's advice is typical and right. If your referring to credit card debt, they usually don't take any legal action for 12+ months. There are several layers of collections before a law suit is even contemplated, so you should be fine.
