Automatic debit???

We canceled our Directtv in June, we owe one month of service and the disconnect fee and included the balance when we filed on 8/2/13, today 8/13/13, I checked my bank account and it was down to 0 because Directtv debited it trying to recover the balance due. I called and they said they would not refund any of it because they have no record of BK notice and I should fax my notice to their BK dept to avoid further auto debits. I faxed the notice and a letter requesting a refund and sent a copy of everything to my lawyer. Can I expect a refund because it was after I filed or is it gone because of the auto debit? That money was going toward my first trustee payment.

Go to your bank and ask them to reverse it because it was un-authorized. I did this to a couple of credit cards that didn't seem to get the message.
