2nd mortgage holders still sending notices, is this normal?

We surrendered our home in our BK and were discharged 1-12-10. Our 2nd mortgage holder is Etrade and I received a letter from them stating that they received notice we filed BK but still show we hold the collateral, I am assuming our home. They said we are not responsible for the remainder of the loan, but I got 2 notices from them yesterday saying we owe $1300 in late fees and payments. Is this normal? I am assuming it is a legality on their part and was wondering if we will continue to get these until we are closed. On my credit report I show our 1st mortgage as IIB, but I don't see even see our Etrade account on my credit report. Should I worry? I know we included them as it is on all of our docs. Thanks!
