    I used cutePDF to print out documents to PDF on my computer so I wouldn't access them multiple times. You can check your file to see if there's been any new filings and that is free. Also, you can check your account balance at any time to see how much you've spent.

    It sucks that you have $35 in charges, but that doesn't mean obsessing = racking up charges. I obsessed with the best of them, I'm sure, and my billing this quarter is about $8. Last quarter it was about $10. Pacer tells you when you're spending money.

      Do I have to use pacer? Wont they mail me if there is a problem?

        100% optional. They will mail you regardless of if you use pacer.
