This refund is received until after September 15th at the earliest.
My chapter 7 became an asset case due to this potential refund which I could not "protect" ....It seems that in Minnesota if you are a homeowner entitled to this refund you would need to file only in the months of Oct Nov or Dec in order to avoid being an asset case (as in January it would again become a refund for the following year). I was not willing to wait and it is a small price to pay but "food for thought" for other MN residents
