hello all , question about the marital adjustment. There is vastly different ways to calculate this from what I have read. trykng to figure out if a credit card payment is considered part of this.
my spouse and I have a card the only one in both of our names . I am filing alone ...we are above median and my attny is working numbers
my spouse wants to keep this card and pay on it as its with an organization he values . Can we deduct this minimum payment from his income?
wouldnt he be responsible for it anyway even if I get a 7 or 13?
