    auto reaffirmation in MA

It seems that Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 255B, Section 20A prohibits repossession of motor vehicles if you are current on the payments making it so there is no reason to reaffirm.

Anyone in MA not reaffirm and have any issues with the lender?

The only reason I can see to reaffirm is so that they report to the credit bureaus but I've read many lenders don't do that anyway so there is really no benefit at all.

One loan is through Ally who sent reaffirmation papers and is reporting "IIB/Never paid late." The other is Citizens who didn't send papers and last I checked was reporting "Pays as agrees" and never late.

Call the lender and see if you can do a ride-through and make sure they still report Paid/Never Late. Question. Do you drive a "Jeep" by any chance. I just had to. LOL. I'm so silly.
