Unemployment ending soon

Hello to everyone!

My question is this. My unemployment will be done in about 8 weeks. With my husbands income, we are below the median by about $3000/yr. Should I wait until I have gone 6 months without the unemployment, or can I file sometime in the near future? I believe that in Western Michigan unemployment is counted as income. Anyone have any experience with this?

Being over the median does not disqualify you for a 7. Have you taken the nolo online means test? I am well over median, but still qualified. If you don't pass the means test then yes, wait, unless your schedule J DMI is negative enough to compel an argument.
