LOL!!! These people do not give up

I have filed for BK and included HSBC for my car and a slew of cc's and other things. After filing I have received a pile of offers to buy new cars, finance new cars on and on and on. The funny thing is HSBC sends me one in the mail today that says due to my great payment history with them they would love to help me finance a new vehicle with their "special needs finance division".

LOL! I guess no hard feelings.

Boy they are in a hurry to get me right back in the hole aren't they.

Remember: Their "marketing" dept are sending out these "offers" by the truck/plane loads. The marketing people don't have the foggiest idea who filed. They get names/addresses from all over the place.

About five months after my 7 discharge in August, 2006 (including HSBC to the tune of about 10K) I received two (2!!!) Pre-approved letters for credit cards..Discover and a Master Card..both from yes, HSBC..to the tune of about 4.5K. Rates were shall we say, not very competitive!

BTW, you may not know this but HSBC was started in 1865 in Hong Kong. Hence the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation..Yes, a Chinese bank with headquarters in London...they are probably the largest bank on the planet and employ over 315,000 people...
