Any experience with Foreclosure workout services?

Does anyone have experience with HomeAssure or other foreclosure workout services?

What are their fees like?
Is this a valid service, or is it really stuff people should be able to workout on their own?
Or somewhere inbetween? Valid for complex plans, but overpriced for simple ones?

No, I'm just trying to find resources for people who ask me.
I just want to provide options, I find myself saying "call the bank" and "just go work something out" alot lately.
