    No News Good News...

    Hello all,

My attorney stated to me "No News, Good News" when I questioned on how my case was going. Am I to believe that?

The last day for objections was August 8th. Our first 341 meeting was 6/9/05, which the trustee had a continuance of that meeting for 7/14/05. The only reason she did that was because she questioned the value of our home. Another evaluation was done on the house and the paperwork was sent out to my attorney. Nothing changed on the house from the first meeting, everything was stated truthfully. I contacted my attorney after that last meeting and that is when he stated "No News, Good News".

I check Pacer daily, but nothing has been posted on there since 6/28/05.

Am I to assume that as long as I do not hear anything or receive any mailings either from my attorney or from the trustee that all is good and things are moving smoothly?

    Thank you!

Yes, that is accurate. No news in a BK is good news. That means nothing is going on, and as you get closer to the objection cut off, the less likely something will happen.

Odds are you will receive your discharge in the next couple weeks.

          discharge order

          Hey all,

I checked Pacer this past Monday and it stated "request for discharge order" filed and entered 8/15/05.

Watching and waiting for that final piece of the "drama" puzzle...the discharge letter...

Take care all. this forum was a godsend...

          Thank you!
