Well, we got another car loan offer in the mail last night. Nothing special about it at first glance except for 2 things. First is, since they are such a far drive from us they are willing to reimburse us for a hotel room and gas. Not that interesting but just makes you wonder how desperate they are. But the second one is the list of things required for the loan. There are 4 thing they require. The first 3 I understand but the 4th is the kicker!
Here is the list:
Driver's License
Recent Paystub
Current Utility Bill
8 References - Are they on crack?!?! There is no way I am giving them 8 references! The buy here, pay here place in town only requires 3. And I've never seen any application for anything that requires more than 4. Sheesh!
