    Kudos to Minny

I have to give you a hand for your patience Minny. I'm only at day 100 but am going nuts. Good news is that my trustee listed me as no asset (filed pro-se) and recommended a discharge. But I HATE this hurry up and wait crap! Just sign the papers, make note in the computer, and mail me (and the others) a letter!
    Filed Pro-se: 01/18/06
    341 meeting: 02/14/2006
    Objection Deadline: 04/17/06
    Discharge: 06/13/2006
    Closed: 06/21/2006

    Credit cards

06/25/06, reopened a Discover that I closed before my bk, $1500 limit
July 2006, Target Redcard $200 limit
August 2006, Hooters MC $1750 limit

I've often been told I have more "patience then sense".........
Lots of patience in this old body!!! If not, I would have the urge to "kill" about half the time....

I also have a policy of "I don't get mad - I get even"!!!! Somewhere down the road!!!

My grandpa beat into my head that "if a man can make you mad - he proved he was smarter than you are"!!!!!!

And I have lived by it all my life..... works for me!!!

Besides I'm the kind that is so easy going that IF I DO GET MAD - I'M EXTREMELY DANGEROUS...... and I know that to be fact!!!

So good thing I have lots of patience with people, situations, and everything else......

Just a little longer and you should be receiving those discharge and closed papers..... especially since yours was a simple Chapter 7 no-asset case.....

Smile, have a Coke, and chat with us while your waiting......

Nerve wrecking isn't it............ that's the hardest part of all of it - waiting it out......

PS - I've been waiting so long I feel like I have the Trustee as a roommate.........

And one of these days I'm gonna "THROW HIM OUT"..... LOL

Burying your head in the sand, under the pillow or in a bottle - will not change how bankruptcy affects us... onlys hides its ugly head for a little while - then it's back.

Best thing to do is deal with it head-on with honesty, a clear head, a good support system, and a determination that life will be better afterwards.

A bankrutpcy decision is not made lightly by most people.... it is a "last resort" - "no way out" - decision.
