Ford came through for me today

I'm still in shock!

I had almost given up on finding Ford as bk friendly. They turned me down a month ago. Today, I went back to the dealership because they had finally approved me via secondary financing programs, quoting rates of 20-24 % . After a long day, I finally sat in the finance director's office and was able to relate my story (turns out he's a recent bk'er also).

After they ran it thru again and made some calls, they camed out saying they were going to "make me smile". No way I'm falling for that, right? So the business manager says "We got you approved with Ford Credit at a '2'...you're going to get 0.9% plus the incentives." I damn near fell off my feet. I also have A-plan from a family member. An hour later, I drove out in a brand new loaded-up 500 Limited with a $450 payment.

I'm saying prayers tonight!
Thank You, Ford, and thanks to the magic-man who made this happen today.
WOW!! I'm so thankful for the new positive TL, and want to thank everyone here for all the guidance and tips.

Sounds like a great deal. I wouldn't think of it as the best idea to come out of bk only to sign up for a 450 car note. But I suppose these days you can't find cars for 200-300 range anymore.

Good luck and make sure you don't get over extended again. Remember BK should be a once in a life time event.

Not without a significant down payment and lots of incentives. Our payment was $253/mo. That was with lots of dealer cash and incentives, plus a paid off trade in, plus a some loot thrown in for boot. We financed roughly $12,500.

It's unreal what car payments are these days!

Many Congrats on your new ride, Poor!!
